BROOKLYN, Mich. (July 29, 2006) - Dario Franchitti will start the Klein Tools/Canadian Club car from the seventh spot on the starting grid for Sunday's running of the Firestone Indy 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Franchitti posted a best-lap speed of 213.851 miles per hour (33.6683 seconds) during his qualifying attempt.
ABC Sports will provide live broadcast coverage of the event starting at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The entire 14-race IndyCar Series schedule can be heard live by XM Satellite Radio subscribers by tuning into XM channel 145, the exclusive home of the IndyCar Series.

"The race car felt pretty good this morning and that's really what we worked on during both practice sessions this morning. I'm actually surprised about our qualifying speed because we really have focused so much on the Klein Tools/Canadian Club car in race trim. So, hopefully we'll have a race car we can contend with."
