WEST ALLIS, Wis. (July 22, 2006) - Klein Tools/Canadian Club driver Dario Franchitti will start
12th for Sunday's running of the ABC Supply Co./A.J. Foyt Indy 225 from The Milwaukee Mile. Franchitti,
who scored his first IndyCar Series victory at Milwaukee in 2004, posted a speed of 169.719 miles per
hour (21.5297 seconds) during his qualifying attempt.
ESPN will provide live broadcast coverage of the event starting at 1:30 p.m. (EDT). The entire
IndyCar Series schedule can be heard live by XM Satellite Radio subscribers by tuning into XM channel
145, the exclusive home of the IndyCar Series.
Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
"I was flat for both of my qualifying laps and didn't have to lift. We just weren't fast enough. It is
going to be a difficult day tomorrow. The race balance here is a lot different than qualifying setup
because the tires are going off so much that the cars are changing a lot. So, hopefully the
Klein Tools/Canadian Club car will be good in the race. Right now, we're just slow."
