WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (July 7, 2007) - Canadian Club driver Dario Franchitti will start from the third position Sunday for the Camping World Watkins Glen Grand Prix. Franchitti posted a best speed of 135.286 miles per hour (1:29.6764 seconds) during the Firestone Fast Six Shootout to improve three spots from his single-lap qualifying attempt.

Television coverage of the Camping World Watkins Glen Grand Prix can be seen Sunday on ABC Sports beginning at 3:30 p.m. (EDT). The IndyCar Series radio broadcast of the event can be heard live on XM Satellite Radio channel 145, the exclusive home of the IndyCar Series.

Dario Franchitti, #27 Canadian Club Dallara/Honda/Firestone:
"Tony (Kanaan) and I ran the same setup and I think we got all we could out of the Canadian Club car. We'll have to sit down tonight and see what we can do to make the car better for tomorrow. I really enjoy running at The Glen. Hopefully I can run better tomorrow than we have in the past."
